Simon joined the Society as Chief Executive in June 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in Financial Services. Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Building Society for nearly eight years and held senior roles at Lloyds and Barclays. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, holds an MBA, and completed Advanced Strategic Management at Kellogg North Western Business School, Chicago.

Andy joined the Society as Chief Financial Officer in July 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience in Financial Services. A Chartered Accountant, Andy began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before holding senior finance roles within the building society sector. He also chairs the Society’s Assets & Liabilities Committee and is responsible for the Finance and Treasury functions.

Liam is the Head of NEXA and responsible for formulating and implementing the strategy with overall accountability for all business operations, people and associated partnerships. He joined the team in 2021 after holding a variety of senior management positions across lending, retail branch and contact centre channels for a number of building societies and banks including The Nottingham Building Society and Virgin Money. He has worked in financial services since 2007.

Andrew is a property finance specialist with over 30 years of experience in the banking/finance sector. Andrew joined NEXA Finance in its initial growth phase in March 2020. In his earlier career, he worked for several international banks in London including Handelsbanken, Erste Bank and German Bank DZ HYP, where he was General Manager and Head of the London office from 2007-2011. More recently, he was Head of Debt Advisory and Structured Finance at Peritus Corporate Finance in London until 2019. Andrew is also known for his time as President of the Association of Property Lenders in London, when he sat on the Bank of England’s Property Forum.

Su Snaith is a Business Development Manager who has over twenty years previous experience in Estate Agency and Relationship Management. Su has spent the last five years at NEXA Finance and loves watching the business grow from strength to strength and working with such a varied range of developers across England and Wales.

Narinder is a Business Development Manager specialising in Development Finance covering England and Wales. Narinder started his banking career in 1991 with NatWest in Wolverhampton and became Senior Business Development Manager before leaving in 2003. He joined Bank of Scotland as an Associate Director New Business and left in 2009. In 2010 Narinder joined Barclays Bank as a Real Estate Manager until 2024 before joining NEXA.

James is a Business Development Manager covering the North. James has been in finance for over 20 years having been with Santander for 18 years. He then worked for 2 other development finance lenders before joining NEXA in March 2024.

Katie is the Senior Operations Administrator at NEXA, responsible for overseeing all back office functions. She has been with NEXA since 2020. Prior to this role, she worked as a Senior Completions Clerk at The Melton and has been with the group for 12 years.

Stuart is an experienced credit manager who comes from the west of Scotland and has worked in banking for almost 30 years. When he’s not working he likes travelling and watching St Mirren football club.

Alan is a career banker with over 40 years’ experience in the sector, he has undertaken roles that include business development, financial crime, leadership, mentoring and credit. He joined the NEXA team in May 2025 as our Senior Credit Partner.

Sarah is a Business Development Assistant who joined NEXA in 2024. Prior to joining NEXA, Sarah had a long career working in Estate Agencies so is very familiar with the property industry. Sarah supports the Business Development Managers and works closely with our borrowers new and old.

Toby joined the team in May 2025 as a Business Development Assistant, after previously working for Melton Building Society where his role was split between NEXA and another subsidiary. His responsibilities include assisting the Business Development Managers with administration support. He is keen to broaden his knowledge, experience and understanding within this industry.

Cam joined the team in June 2025 as a Business Development Assistant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, and a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.

After a 40-year career in the Property sector, half of which was spent overseeing a group conveyancing operation, Jackie joined NEXA in 2021. She now works with panel solicitors and borrowers to ensure a speedy completion to the legal documentation for their case.
